Once used by early medieval travellers for communal lodging, the ten bedrooms at Pieve a Castello have been respectfully transformed into private sanctuaries. Each room is unique, reflecting the building’s extraordinary history while offering modern comforts in a peaceful, countryside setting.
Expect: en suite bath/shower facilities, air-conditioning and heating, a sofa, writing desk, fridge-bar, TV, safe, and views of the ancient courtyard or rolling Tuscan hills. Whether tucked beneath original beams or opening directly onto the garden, every room offers a story - and a view.

A charming, corner courtyard room with a shower (single room, French-sized double bed*).
*Rooms 9 & 10 do not have a single occupancy supplement.

A courtyard room featuring a writing niche, shower, and an 8th-century apse (!) (double).
