Book the entire property for your group or secure a week reserved for independent guests, and we’ll help you shape the experience to be as relaxed or as adventurous as you choose.
Whether you wish to explore ancient trails, visit nearby hill towns, enjoy our famous picnics, or simply unwind beneath the Tuscan sun - it’s entirely up to you.

This is not a package tour - it’s a supported retreat. Each day can be self-guided, gently planned with our team, or a spontaneous blend of both. We can arrange transport, suggest walks, schedule local tastings, or simply let you be.
From strolling vineyard paths to discovering hidden Romanesque churches or enjoying a long lunch in the courtyard, how you spend your time is entirely yours to decide.

Excursion Ideas

Monteriggioni
Walled hill village with 14 towers and just 84 inhabitants. Walk via the Abbey of Isola (1 hr) or through forest from Pieve (3–4 hrs). Drive time: 10 mins.

San Gimignano
Iconic towered town with medieval frescoes, shops, museums, and superb gelato. Scenic walk in (20 mins); full-day return hike (7 hrs). Drive time: 25 mins.

Enjoy Pieve
Swim, read, relax - or explore the network of trails through olive groves and meadows from your doorstep.

Casole d’Elsa
Charming hilltop town with fine walls, churches, and museum. Walks across the Elsa Valley meadows. Drive time: 15 mins.

Siena
Italy’s best-preserved medieval city. Visit the Cathedral, Piazza del Campo, and masterpieces by Sienese artists. Walk part of the way back on the Via Francigena. Drive time: 25 mins.

Colle Val d’Elsa
Explore the town’s underground mill-race canals, ancient hilltop streets, and excellent ice cream. Walk back through woods and fields (2–3 hrs). Drive time: 10 mins.


Walking at Your Pace
Our Route Book provides 200 pages of detailed walks ranging from 1–7 hours, whether you want a gentle meadow stroll or a longer pilgrimage to Siena. Routes include maps, notes, and cultural insights, and the daily shuttle makes pick-ups and drop-offs easy.
Paths follow the ancient Via Francigena, through vineyards, olive groves, forests, and valleys full of wildflowers and birdsong.
